You Belong at the Piano...
Piano Adagio is an adult-first piano methodology created for the learner who has always wanted to play the piano. If you gave up lessons when young, or are finally crossing piano off your bucket list, we make piano accessible and enjoyable, because our goal is to create life-long pianists
Based in psychology, our courses are designed to put you at ease with a steady, realistic pace, and demonstrated wins. We do this by looking at piano instruction differently- designed in a way to show you the big picture of music and build foundational skills without overwhelming you with concepts and theory!
This piano method is built on how the brain learns and benefits— with a student-centered approach that uses pattern recognition, intervalic reading, and steady progress with the goal to instill a love of piano and a deeper understanding of music.

A Different Approach to Adult Piano
By taking a fresh look at how we teach piano, we hope to make learning more fun, enjoyable, and possible for more students! Here's how we do things a little differently...
You Won't be Overwhelmed with Concepts & Theory
We'll work at a steady pace, adding in only a few concepts at a time and take a look at how these concepts fit into the bigger picture of music. This take learning to a deeper level.
We Keep Muscle Memory in Mind
With a steady pace, this allows us to build muscle memory - because when we play piano, we're working with our brains, eyes, and muscle, so this allows for all areas to sync up.

14+ Years Piano Teaching
Lehigh M.Ed. Student
Your Piano Teacher
I began teaching piano in high school and continued to do so for the next 13 years as I raised my kids. Last year I rediscovered my love for teaching after working for a decade in marketing and am taking on students.
I have an ALB from Harvard and currently in grad school for my M.E.d. at Lehigh University.
Music has always been a significant part of my life including teaching, playing for church, singing in choirs, and learning more about its foundations. Music is an incredible phenomenon that reaches the heart, soul, mind, and body unlike any other activity, and I believe it is a critical part of a life well-lived.
